分了三层，居住的空间面积大概是260平米

It has three storeys and the living space covers an area of around 260m2

经常换家具，比较经典的北欧大师的一些设计

We often change our furniture, mostly classic designs of Northern-European masters

看腻了，或者有什么新的喜好，就把不同的家具替换进来

If we’re fed up with the old one, or find something new, we would replace with a different item

电梯上来就是我们家一个小的入口玄关

And going up in the elevator, you would reach the small hallway of our home

整个客厅最高处大概有五米

The peak of the living room is as high as 5m

The dealer told me they were collected from a marriage registration in the Netherlands

All the residents in that area of Amsterdam

dōu shì zài nǐ zhè gè yǐ zi shàng miàn jié hūn pāi zhào de

都是在你这个椅子上面结婚、拍照的

Had taken photos in the chairs when they got married

bèi xǐ nǎo le shì wèi le zhè gè gù shì mǎi dān

被洗脑了，是为了这个故事买单

She was brainwashed. She bought the chairs just for that story

长廊左侧都是卧室

Bedrooms are all on the left side of the corridor

我们的主卧就是一个斜的屋顶

Our master bedroom has a sloped roof

In the children room, I design an area to play

It connects to the attic on the third floor

女儿特别喜欢剧烈的这些运动

My daughter likes intense workouts

So I build a climbing wall for her

The same year as the founding of our nation

When you sit in it, you feel like a chieftain

This is the souvenir edition of the 70th anniversary with the number of 2019

这个叫侍从椅，之前送给丹麦国王使用过的瓦格纳的设计

This is called Valet Chair. It was designed by Wegner and once used by Danish King

You can hang clothes on the back

坐板抬起来可以挂裤子

And the board can be lifted up to place pants

中间是一个暗盒，可以收纳一些小的物品

There’s a hidden box inside to contain small items

我丈母娘来我们家说这个灯有点寒碜，有点太像破烂了

When my mother in law came to my home, she said the light was shabby and looked like a piece of junk

我跟她说，这是1920年的瑞典的设计

I told her that was a Swedish design from 1920

When I moved to Beijing from Paris

wǒ jiù yùn le yī huò guì de dōng xī huí lái

我就运了一货柜的东西回来

I shipped back a container of things

然后送到家里的时候我妈第一句评语就是

And when they were sent to home, the first thing my mom said was

Why did you buy so much scrap metal

跟我老公结婚之后

After I got married with my husband

我妈就说你终于找到一个跟你一样喜欢买破铜烂铁的人

She said ‘you finally find a man who likes buying scrap metal as much as you’

一个家其实不应该是为艺术品准备的

A home is not designed for art pieces

Then which kind of art works fits into which corner
