The 4 days of an old man who rode tricycle and wanted to go home due to sickness

我们通过采样，让你看到的是人间万象

You can see the society through our sampling

生老病死里，他总占一样

The living, the senior, the sick, the dead, our protagonists must belong to one of the 4 categories

But they are always trying to get rid of their troubles

The shooting lasts for around 3-4 months

People in the dance floor follow her

在失恋的那个阶段

When she just broke up

wǒ men gēn fù mǔ kěn dìng shì bào xǐ bù bào yōu de

我们跟父母肯定是报喜不报忧的

She didn’t tell her parents anything about it

dàn shì tā gēn péng yǒu zài yī qǐ hē jiǔ de shí hòu

但是，她跟朋友在一起喝酒的时候

But when she drank with friends

tā nà jǐ cì céng cì de biàn huà

她那几次层次的变化

Multiple layers of change appeared on her

yī huì ér shī shēng tòng kū yī huì ér yòu háo qíng wàn zhàng

一会儿失声痛哭，一会儿又豪情万丈

She cried her eyes out, but then was full of pride suddenly

yī huì ér yòu jǔ sàng

一会儿又沮丧

The next second she became upset again

她说这都不是事，姐没服过谁

Sha said it was no big deal, and she had never given in to anyone

我们剪的时候，我们都觉得这完全是一种「演技」的炸裂

When we were editing, we thought her “acting” was perfect

méi yǒu shén me jù běn néng chāo guò shēng huó

没有什么剧本能超过生活

Life itself is the best script

dàn shì nǐ shuō tā nèi xīn de yuàn wàng shì shén me ne

但是你说她内心的愿望是什么呢

But what does she hope for

tā xī wàng tā jiē xià lái néng yǒu yī gè gèng hǎo de gǎn qíng

她希望她接下来能有一个更好的感情

She probably wants a better relationship

yě kě néng shì tā xiǎng wǒ shuí yě bù kào

也可能是她想我谁也不靠

Or maybe she doesn’t want anyone

wǒ zì jǐ yě néng tǐng hǎo

我自己也能挺好

She’d be better off by herself

zài nà yī kè yī dìng tā nèi xīn shì yǒu guāng de tā zì jǐ kàn dào

在那一刻，一定她内心是有光的，她自己看到

At that moment, she has light inside and only she can see it

The wife sang it

They were moving against the stream of life too

They couldn’t even clink each other’s glass

They couldn’t even fetch a piece of bread for each other

但是人家没为此就哭死

But they didn’t cry their eyes out

人家没为此就没有感情

And they didn’t lose love

而且人家该过什么节过什么节，该庆祝什么庆祝什么

They celebrated each festival and happy event

So where is the light in this story

这故事的光就在他们俩的爱里

看成片之后

After watched the finished film

一个 80 后，留学英国回来学商业的

A post-80 business student who just returned from the U.K. said

他说我看了这个片子以后我才知道

“I know nothing about life”

“And I realize that only after watching the film”

You’ll find the people in the film are just scrape a living

Life is not an open door

Or a broad path

So when we walk in the narrow door

每一个人的生活都是这个城市里特别狭窄的一个角落

Each one’s life is only a small corner in the city

你眼睛前面看见的就是你自己的生活

You can only see the life of your own
