But the house was too closed

拿掉了客厅和餐厅之间的隔墙

So we remove the partition between the living room and the dining room

重新定制了德式的钢窗

And customize German-style steel windows

And the ventilation is good in the south-north direction

On the second floor

We do a lot of ‘recycling’

And the bathtub in the washroom

其实就是原来的旧的浴缸

我们回收过来以后

We recycle it

做了壹个嵌入式的处理

And do an embedding

我不太喜欢修旧如旧

I don’t like repairing something old to its original looking

我们希望这个房子它并不是全新的

We hope the house isn’t brand new

但同时又能够满足现代人的生活方式

But can adapt to the lifestyle of modern people

wǒ men pù shè le dì nuǎn ān zhuāng le kōng diào

我们铺设了地暖，安装了空调

We’ve installed floor heating and air conditioners

kǎo lǜ dào lǎo fáng zi de gé yīn dōu bǐ jiào chà

考虑到老房子的隔音都比较差

Considering the old house didn’t have good sound insulation

suǒ yǐ zhěng gè èr céng diàn gāo le shí gōng fēn

所以整个二层垫高了十公分

So we elevate the whole second floor by 10cm

lǐ miàn jiā rù gé yīn yán mián

里面加入隔音岩绵

Stone wool insulation is added

néng gòu hěn hǎo dì zǔ duàn shēng yīn

能够很好地阻断声音

And it can effectively block sounds

zhǔ wò wèi shēng jiān huā le hěn dà de gōng fū

主卧卫生间花了很大的工夫

We put great effort into the washroom of the master bedroom

wǒ men fàng zhì le yī gè yù gāng kě yǐ pào pào zǎo

我们放置了壹个浴缸，可以泡泡澡

We place a bathtub for bathing

看看外面的绿植

And seeing the plants outside

整个客厅的北边预留了壹间书房

A study is built at the north of the living room
