余音袅袅我看了太多热闹

I watched too much excitement

kàn yī chén bù rǎn de bái zhǐ dōu biàn dé fú zào

看一尘不染的白纸都变得浮躁

Look at the spotless white paper and become impetuous

shàn zhě liáo liáo zài ní zhǎo zhī zhōng jiān áo

善者寥寥在泥沼之中煎熬

The good are seldom tormented in the quagmire

ér zhì shēn shì wài de jūn zi zài yī páng lěng xiào

而置身事外的君子在一旁冷笑

And the gentleman who was out of the way sneered

méi wán méi le de àn jiàn chí xù jiào xiāo

没完没了的暗箭持续叫嚣

The endless dark arrows continue to clamor

pà méi rén zhù yì dào tā men dé yì zhù zuò yāo

怕没人注意到他们得意著作妖

I'm afraid that no one will notice their proud book demon

fēn fēn rǎo rǎo zhè rén jiān quē gè gōng dào

纷纷扰扰这人间缺个公道

Have bothered this world for lack of justice

wǒ cí sān jiè bié wǔ xíng zì gù qù xiāo yáo

我辞三界 别五行自顾去逍遥

I resign from the Three Realms, don’t take care of the Five Elements and go to happiness

cǐ qù bì jīng nián huāng yě hán shǔ huàn hóng yán

此去必经年 荒野寒暑换红颜

You must go there for years

wǎng shì sàn yún yān shí cùn guāng yīn huàn yī qián

往事散云烟 十寸光阴换一钱

The past is scattered, and ten inches of time is exchanged for a coin

zhǐ shēn shān shuǐ jiān ěr bù wén è yǔ xián yán

只身山水间 耳不闻恶语闲言

I'm alone in the mountains and rivers, I don't hear any bad words

jǔ tóu wèn cāng tiān hé shí dé yǐ fù huáng quán

举头问苍天 何时得以赴黄泉

Raise your head and ask the sky when you can go to Huangquan

zǒu zǒu tíng tíng yòu guàng le jǐ gè shì jì

走走停停又逛了几个世纪

Stopped and wandered for centuries

kàn chuān liú bù xī dēng hóng jiǔ lǜ biàn chéng gū jì

看川流不息灯红酒绿变成孤寂

Watching the stream of feasting and feasting turn into loneliness

zhàn zhàn jīng jīng de rén men wèi céng huái yí

战战兢兢的人们未曾怀疑

The trembling people never doubted

zài cǐ dì róng huá fù guì shì wéi yī de zhēn lǐ

在此地荣华富贵是唯一的真理

Prosperity and wealth here is the only truth

jī guān suàn jǐn hòu tú liú yī dì huáng jīn

机关算尽后徒留一地黄金

After the organs are exhausted, they only leave a place of gold

nà zhǒng lǐ kū gǔ bù dé ān xī wú rén zài yì

那冢里枯骨不得安息无人在意

Withered bones in the tomb can't rest in peace, no one cares

yè sè jiàng lín shí luò xià yī shēng tàn xī

夜色降临时落下一声叹息

When the night falls, there is a sigh

wǒ chéng xīng lái bài xīng qù yě lè dé suí yì

我乘兴来 败兴去也乐得随意

I am happy to come, but I am happy even if I fail.
