（祖先）有一块土地

(Ancestors) have a piece of land

我到底要做一件什么事

What am i going to do

bù rán jiù gài yī dòng yǒu xiǎng fǎ de jiàn zhù

不然就盖一栋有想法的建筑

Otherwise, build a building with ideas

Almost 20 years ago

wǒ qù rì běn lǚ xíng

我去日本旅行

I travel to japan

dāng wǒ zuò zài nà lǐ hē kā fēi

当我坐在那里喝咖啡

When i sit there drinking coffee

wǒ jiù xiǎng dào wǒ de gù xiāng

我就想到我的故乡

I think of my hometown

qí shí wǒ de gù xiāng tiáo jiàn bù huì bǐ tā men chà

其实我的故乡条件不会比他们差

Actually the conditions in my hometown are not worse than them

wǒ men zhǐ shì méi yǒu hǎo jiàn zhù ér yǐ

我们只是没有好建筑而已

We just don't have good buildings

从日本请了建筑师来到澎湖

I invited an architect from Japan to Penghu

我就是告诉他

I just told him

我喜欢清水模

I like clear water mold

wǒ xī wàng jiā lǐ yǒu lǜ sè zhí zāi

我希望家里有绿色植栽

I hope there are green plants at home

bái tiān bù kāi dēng

白天不开灯

Do not turn on the lights during the day

zá cǎo cóng shēng de jī dì

杂草丛生的基地

Overgrown base

tā zhēn de tài nán gài le

它真的太难盖了

It's really hard to cover

wǒ nián cái gài hǎo

我6年才盖好

I built it in 6 years

wǒ hái yǒu jiàn zhù shī

我，还有建筑师

Me and the architect

wǒ men liǎng gè jiù dào wǒ men de jī dì

我们两个就到我们的基地

We two go to our base

cè wǒ de nǎo bō gēn jiàn zhù shī de nǎo bō

测我的脑波跟建筑师的脑波

Test my brain waves and the architect's brain waves

yòng nǎo bō de qū xiàn qù zuò shè jì

用脑波的曲线去做（设计）

Do it with the curve of brain waves (design)

jiù shì nǐ kàn zhè gè jiàn zhù wù shì bù shì

就是你看这个建筑物是不是

You see if this building

yǒu yī xiē zài wān wān qū qū

有一些在弯弯曲曲

Some twists and turns

qí shí jiù shì yòng wǒ men de nǎo bō qù yán shēn de

其实就是用我们的脑波去延伸的

In fact, it uses our brain waves to extend

tā wài lì miàn dōu méi yǒu chuāng hù

它（外立面）都没有窗户

It (the facade) has no windows

qí shí jiàn zhù hěn měi

其实建筑很美

Actually the building is beautiful

gēn běn bù xū yào guò duō de zhuāng shì

根本不需要过多的装饰

No need for too much decoration at all

zhǐ yǒu sān zhǒng cái liào ér yǐ

只有三种材料而已

There are only three materials

dōu shì zuì biàn yí de jiàn cái

都是最便宜的建材

Are the cheapest building materials

jiù shì dì bǎn mén gēn chuáng de cái liào

就是地板、门跟床的材料

Is the material of the floor, door and bed

qí tā dōu shì shuǐ ní

其它都是水泥

The rest are cement

jiù shì jiàn zhù wù guàn jiāng hǎo

就是建筑物灌浆好

That the building is grouted well

tā jiù wán chéng le

它就完成了

It's done

wǒ mā mā gēn wǒ jiù jiù tā men dōu shàng le nián jì

我妈妈跟我舅舅他们都上了年纪

My mother and my uncle are both getting old

gài hǎo fáng zi qǐng tā men huí lái zhù

盖好房子请他们回来住

Build a house and invite them back to live

我妈妈说

My mother said

nǐ huā le zhè me duō qián

你花了这么多钱

You spent so much money

zhè gè fáng zi hái méi wán chéng ma

这个房子还没完成吗

Is this house not finished yet?

wǒ men měi yī gè fáng jiān dōu fēi cháng méi yǒu yǐn sī

我们每一个房间都非常没有隐私

Each of our rooms has no privacy

dào chù dōu yǒu duì nèi de chuāng hù

到处都有（对内的）窗户

There are (inside) windows everywhere

wǒ zài fáng jiān

我在房间

I'm in the room

wǒ jiù kě yǐ gēn duì miàn de fáng kè dǎ gè zhāo hū

我就可以跟对面的房客打个招呼

I can say hello to the opposite tenant

dà jiā yǒu kě néng zhè bèi zi jiù jiàn zhè yī cì miàn ér yǐ

大家有可能这辈子就见这一次面而已

Everyone may meet this time in your life

lái rèn shí shì jiè gè guó de rén

来认识世界各国的人

To meet people from all over the world

我觉得这个概念是很棒

I think this concept is great

我们的房间就是高高低低

Our room is high and low

měi yī gè fáng jiān dōu bù yī yàng

每一个房间都不一样

Every room is different

有的非常小

Some are very small

有的可能你睡觉的床是凹进去的

Maybe your bed is recessed

How many rooms

nǐ rú guǒ chuāng lián bù lā

你如果窗帘不拉

If you don't pull the curtain

tā tài yáng yī zǎo jiù shè dào nǐ de liǎn shàng le

他太阳一早就射到你的脸上了

His sun hit your face early in the morning

nǐ jiù shuì xǐng

你就睡醒

You wake up

kě yǐ kàn dào tài yáng zhēn hǎo

可以看到太阳，真好

It’s nice to see the sun

měi tiān dōu yǒu bù tóng de guāng xiàn chū xiàn

每天都有不同的光线出现

Different light appears every day

shuǐ bō de guāng xiàn

水波的光线

Light of water wave

tā hái huì zhé shè dào qiáng bì

它还会折射到墙壁

It will also refract to the wall

xiàng huà yī yàng

像画一样

Like a picture

wǒ jué dé zhè gè tài měi le

我觉得这个太美了

I think this is so beautiful

There are really 9 suns in summer

很热

It's hot

shàng miàn yǒu zuò tōng fēng kǒng

上面有做通风孔

There are ventilation holes

xià tiān shì nèi yě bù huì hěn rè

夏天室内也不会很热

It’s not very hot indoors in summer

xiàng zhè tái lěng qì dōu méi yòng guò

像这台冷气都没用过

I have never used this air conditioner

xià yǔ de huà jiù shì zhè gè huā pǔ

下雨的话就是这个花圃

If it rains, this is the flower garden

shàng miàn tā jiù huì yǒu yǔ shuǐ jìn lái zhè yàng zi

上面它就会有雨水进来这样子

It will have rain coming in like this

nǐ kě yǐ mō dào yǔ shuǐ

你可以摸到雨水

You can feel the rain

yòng zuì yuán shǐ de pí gé

（用）最原始的皮革

去做一些作品

都是有一些我的灵魂的

All have some of my soul

第一个楼层做好了之后

After the first floor is completed

dà jiā jiù kāi shǐ kāi huì jiù jiǎn tǎo quē shī

大家就开始开会就检讨缺失

Everyone starts a meeting to review the deficiencies

fā xiàn le gè quē diǎn

发现了100个缺点

100 shortcomings found

yuán lái yī kē dīng zi yě shì quē diǎn

原来一颗钉子也是缺点

It turns out that a nail is also a disadvantage

nà jiù shì zài dì èr gè lóu céng jiù kāi shǐ yào gǎi jìn

那就是在第二个楼层就开始要改进

That is to improve on the second floor

fáng zi gài hǎo le wǒ cái yī suì

房子盖好了我才一岁

I'm only one year old after the house is built

jiē xià lái jiù yào liǎng suì sān suì sì suì

接下来就要两岁、三岁、四岁

We will be two, three, and four years old next
